Pricing questions
What is the difference between hosted AI and BYOK?
Hosted AI means Vexlynk supplies the model and meters your usage in AI turns; the price is $20 (Plus) or $30 (Pro). BYOK — bring your own key — means you paste your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, pay that provider directly for usage, and pay Vexlynk $15 (Plus) or $25 (Pro). Everything else in the plan is identical.
What happens when I reach a limit?
You are told which limit you hit and offered an upgrade. Nothing is removed on your behalf: a limit stops the next workspace, source or Vlynk, it never prunes what you already have. If you downgrade below what you use, everything you had keeps working; you simply cannot add more until you are under the limit.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from Settings → Plan → Manage or cancel plan, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free automatically. Your workspaces, cards and files stay yours; nothing is deleted over billing.
Do upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately?
Upgrades apply the moment payment completes and you pay the difference. Downgrades apply at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.
Are templates or Vlynks paid extras?
No. Every template is included on every plan. Vlynks (background intelligence modules) are free to install; the Free plan holds three at a time, Plus and Pro unlimited.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is permanent, not a trial — no card required. Use it as long as you like and upgrade only when you need more workspaces, sources or AI turns.
