Straight answers before you connect a thing.
The questions operators actually ask — answered honestly, including what Vexlynk can't do yet.
The problem is too many tools — isn't Vexlynk just one more?
Fair worry. But you don't move Stripe, YouTube or Notion into Vexlynk — you leave them where they are and put a live, read-only card of each on one board. It's a layer that sits on top of the stack you already pay for, not another silo to migrate into.
Can't Notion already do this?
You can build a dashboard page in Notion, but pulling live Stripe or GA4 into it usually means a Zapier/Make pipeline that breaks when a field name changes, and the AI often can't read the database. In Vexlynk the sources are first-class live cards, and the assistant reads them directly.
Why not just ask ChatGPT?
ChatGPT hasn't seen this week's revenue unless you paste a screenshot — which is the exact chore this replaces. Vexlynk's assistant answers from the cards on your board, so it's working from your real numbers instead of generic advice.
Is my Stripe data going to OpenAI?
Connecting Stripe only talks to Stripe. When you ask the hosted assistant a question, the relevant board context is sent to the model to answer it — and if you bring your own key (BYOK), that request goes to your provider on your account. Cloud sync is a paid feature: the free plan doesn't sync at all, and local-only users are never pushed to the cloud. We won't say "your data never leaves" — see the Security page for the exact split.
Does it post to my Instagram or other socials?
No. Social sources are read-only right now — Vexlynk reads reach, followers and post performance, and doesn't publish anything to your accounts.
Can it replace Trello, or my CRM?
No — it's the view on top of those tools, not something you migrate to. It reads Trello, HubSpot and the rest and shows them on the board, and you can even do a few things from there today — edit a Trello card, or add a Google Calendar event — but the system of record stays where it is.
Is there a Mac app?
Yes — Vexlynk has native Mac desktop apps for both Apple Silicon and Intel, downloadable from the site today, plus the web workspace that runs anywhere. Windows currently gets the fastest auto-updates; on Mac you grab the latest build from the download page (or just use the web workspace).
Is the free plan a trap?
No hidden wall. Free includes 1 workspace, 5 sources, 50 AI turns a month and 3 Vlynks — enough to put real live cards on a board and decide. Plus and Pro raise those limits; you can see the numbers on the pricing page.
What about Gmail and Google Business Profile?
Both are coming soon, not live yet — they're waiting on Google's approval / API access. We list them as coming soon rather than pretending they connect today.
What does the AI actually do?
It reads your whole board and your live numbers, answers questions grounded in them, and can create cards, drafts, images and short multi-step research — but only when you ask. It doesn't act on your business on its own.
Fewer tabs, one board.
The free plan puts your first live card up in a few minutes.
