Vexlynk is a visual workspace for creators, founders and small-business owners. The accounts you already use, such as Stripe, Shopify, Google Analytics, YouTube and your calendar, appear as live cards on one canvas, and an AI agent reads the whole board with you. It runs as a desktop app for Windows and macOS and as a web workspace in the browser, with a free plan and paid plans (see current pricing).
This page is the plain explanation: who Vexlynk is for, how it works, the difference between the desktop app and the web workspace, what each plan costs, and what Vexlynk does not do. Each section links to the matching page in the Vexlynk docs.
Who Vexlynk is for
Vexlynk is built for people who run a business across several apps and start each day by opening them one by one: a creator checking YouTube and Stripe, a store owner checking Shopify and Google Analytics, a consultant checking the calendar, Calendly and HubSpot. It replaces that round of tabs with one board you open first. That is what we mean by a primary workspace: the place the day starts, while each app keeps doing its own job.
It is built for a computer screen. On a phone, the web workspace shows a quick sign-up and points you to a computer instead of loading the canvas (Desktop vs Web).
How Vexlynk works: sources, live cards, the agent and Vlynks
1. Sources: connect the accounts you already use
A source is an outside account that feeds a card. Vexlynk has 23 live sources today, including Google Calendar, Google Analytics (GA4), Outlook, Stripe, Shopify, Notion, Trello, ClickUp, HubSpot, Calendly, WhatsApp (via Kapso), YouTube channel data and analytics, WordPress and RSS feeds, plus Instagram, Facebook and TikTok analytics on paid plans. Gmail and Google Business Profile are coming soon. You authorize each one through the provider’s own sign-in (Connecting Sources).
Most sources are read-only. A few (WhatsApp, Trello, ClickUp, Google Calendar) let you act from the card, such as replying on WhatsApp, editing a Trello card, adding or completing a ClickUp task, or adding a calendar event, only when you do it yourself. Sending a message, or archiving, completing or deleting something, asks you to confirm first; edits and adds save when you click Save or Add. Nothing writes to your accounts on its own.
2. Live cards on one canvas
Each connected source becomes a card that refreshes on its own. Around those cards you place notes, to-dos, columns, files, links, documents and images on an infinite canvas you pan and zoom. You can start blank or from a template, and keep separate workspaces for clients, projects or parts of the business.
3. An AI agent that reads the board
The agent is a conversation that can see your workspace: the cards, the live data from your sources, the results of your Vlynks and the lines you draw between cards. Ask “what changed across my sources since yesterday?” and it answers from your cards. It can create cards, place and run sources, organize the board and build a starting layout, and it asks before changing or removing anything you made. It can also write files, such as a spreadsheet or a Word-compatible document, to your Downloads folder. It never writes to your accounts (Using the AI Agent).
4. Vlynks: analysis modules that read your cards
A Vlynk reads the cards on your board and writes an analysis card that cites the cards each finding came from. Twelve ship today, among them Morning Brief, ROI & Break-Even, Client Health Monitor, Financial Control and Operator Actions (Plus and Pro). Four are rule-based and give the same result for the same board; the other eight are AI-written. Institutional Memory is installed by default and the rest install from the Marketplace. You run a Vlynk from its card, by asking the agent, or on a daily or weekly schedule (Vlynks).

Desktop app or web workspace
Vexlynk is one product with two ways in (Desktop vs Web):
- Desktop app for Windows and macOS. Local-first: your workspaces and cards are stored on your machine, and cloud sync is off by default. Sync is an opt-in Plus and Pro feature. Source API keys are stored encrypted in the app and, when you’re signed in, also in an encrypted cloud vault so sources can refresh on the web.
- Web workspace at workspace.vexlynk.app. The same interface, workspaces and agent, with nothing to install. Boards are kept in the cloud, sources refresh from Vexlynk’s servers, and API keys are stored encrypted.
A few features need the desktop app: the in-app browser, the video and image editors, linking a local folder, and the voice wake word. The Free plan has no sync, so the desktop app and the web workspace keep separate data; pick one and stay there. The detail is in Privacy & Local-First.
Vexlynk plans and prices
Current prices are on the pricing page. On Plus and Pro you can use hosted AI or your own key (BYOK): you connect your own AI key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), DeepSeek or xAI (Grok) and pay that provider for usage.

What Vexlynk is not
- Not a replacement for your tools. Payments stay in Stripe, orders in Shopify, tasks in Trello or ClickUp. Vexlynk reads them and shows them together.
- Not a BI tool. You don’t write queries or build a data model. Each card shows what that source’s connection fetches, and the agent and Vlynks reason over those cards.
- Not a two-way sync. Most sources are read-only. The exceptions are WhatsApp, Trello, ClickUp and Google Calendar, and only when you do it yourself (sending, archiving, completing or deleting asks you to confirm first).
- No full board export yet. Your source data never moves (it stays in Stripe, GA4 and the rest), desktop boards are stored on your machine, files the agent generates download to your computer, and Operator Actions records export as PDF, Markdown or HTML. A one-click export of a whole board isn’t available today.
- Not a phone app. The canvas needs a computer screen.
- Not connected to everything. Ad platforms such as Google Ads are not in the source list, and Gmail and Google Business Profile are still coming soon. Check the source list before you plan a board around a tool.
How to start with Vexlynk
- Download the desktop app for Windows or macOS from vexlynk.app/experience, or open the web workspace at workspace.vexlynk.app.
- Create a free account (no card) and sign in. New accounts start with a sample workspace you can edit or delete.
- Open Sources in the rail and connect one account, for example Google Calendar or Stripe. Its card appears on the canvas and fills in.
- Ask the agent a question about what is on the board.

Frequently asked questions
What is Vexlynk?
Vexlynk is a visual workspace where your business accounts (Stripe, Shopify, Google Analytics, YouTube, your calendar and more) appear as live cards on one canvas, and an AI agent reads the board with you. It runs on Windows, macOS and the web.
Is Vexlynk free?
There is a permanent Free plan with 1 workspace, 5 connected sources, 50 AI turns a month and 3 Vlynks, no card needed. For Plus and Pro, see current pricing.
Does Vexlynk change anything in my accounts?
Most sources are read-only; a few (WhatsApp, Trello, ClickUp, Google Calendar) let you act from the card, only when you do it yourself — sending a message, or archiving, completing or deleting something, asks you to confirm first. The agent never writes to your accounts; what it creates lands on your board or downloads as a file.
Is my data stored on my computer?
On the desktop app, yes: your boards are stored on your machine and cloud sync is off by default (it is a Plus and Pro option). The web workspace keeps boards in the cloud. See Desktop vs Web.
Can I use my own AI key?
Yes, on Plus and Pro. Connect a key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), DeepSeek or xAI (Grok) and pay that provider for usage. The Free plan uses hosted AI only. See BYOK.
